"Children may be small but their needs are huge. Our duty, as the taller group in society, is to make sure those needs are considered before we taken any action at all, politically, socially, educationally, economically, or just in our homes, in the daily run of things.

It's a truism to say that children are our future: they are. But they're also our present. I'd love to live in a country in which no child weeps with misery today, no child is un-loved today, no child goes to bed hungry and wakes even hungrier today, no child cries in fear today, no child is bullied at school today, no child has illness un-treated today, no child lives in sub-standard housing today, no child lacks books or a doting adult to read to them today, and no child lacks stability or hope, this very day.Let's unite in keeping children happy.

Let's unite in keeping them safe and cherished Let's unite in making their education cheerful and productive. Let's unite in keeping them well, physically and emotionally.
Let's unite in standing up for their total well-being. Let's remember they're humans, not statistics; people, not items.

Let's put them first.

And second.

And third.

Let's make their day better. Today."
