Erika CalderErika Calder is the Australian desert landscape artist.

 Her paintings are part of an ongoing body of work showing the beauty and variety of the flora and fauna and the incredible diversity of the many eco-systems in Australia's fragile Lake Eyre Basin. From the subtle stony gibber desert dissected by stunning dunes of varying sizes and colours, and the delicate Mound Springs to the unique freshwater wetlands of the lower Cooper Creek, the Coongie Lakes (surrounded by much evidence of a rich Aboriginal Culture) and the vast expanses of the salt Lake Eyre and environs.

 Enough inspiration for a life time of work.
